On a labor section, press + Overtime (or Show overtime columns) to show Base hrs and the OT 1.5×, OT 2× and OT 2.5× columns. Hours are line totals.
The hourly rate is the day rate divided by the line's base hours. A line with no base hours uses Default base hours in a day rate from the budget's Settings → Advanced settings.
Straight or blended
- Straight divides the day rate by base hours, as crew sheets do.
- Blended, used for talent, is rate ÷ (base + (base − basis) × 0.5), where basis is the state's hours before overtime (8 in most states). Section M is set to blended by the template.
Set the method for the whole budget in Advanced settings, or per section in Section settings. A section can also turn overtime off entirely by unticking Calculates overtime.
The summary shows overtime by section, bid and running.
