My Hot Budget file will not import

• "This is the blank Hot Budget program file": open your job in Hot Budget, save it, and upload the saved file.
• "This does not look like a Hot Budget job file": the importer reads Hot Budget .xlsb and .xlsx files that have a Cost Summary sheet. For other spreadsheets, see importing other workbooks.
• Some totals differ: you can still Import anyway and fix them by hand. The differences are recorded in the budget's history.
• You have used your three free budgets: subscribe to import more.

If a file you expect to work does not, write to hello@actualsbudget.com. We may ask for the file to see what went wrong.
