In the photo app, New Budget offers the Photo Shoot template, a Blank Photo Budget with the same sections and no lines, and any of your own templates. Its sections:
- A Creative Fees: shoot, prep, travel and weather or hold days for the photographer.
- B Usage and Licensing: the image usage license.
- C Crew: producer, assistants, digital tech, lighting tech, hair and make-up, stylists and PA.
- D Studio and Location: studio and pre-light days, location fees, permits and scouting.
- E Equipment: camera, capture station, lighting, grip and expendables.
- F Talent: models, fittings and talent usage.
- G Styling and Props: purchases, rentals and loss and damage.
- H Catering and Transport: catering, craft service, vehicles, parking, tolls and fuel.
- I Post: selects and edit, retouching, and file prep and delivery.
Lines come without rates, and day lines start at a quantity of one, so you type the days and the rate. Prefill rates can fill them from your last bids or a saved rate card.
A photo bid starts with no markup, insurance, post markup or payroll fringe, since photo crews are usually freelance. Turn any of them on in the budget's Settings. Talent sections still carry the model agency fee.
