actuals is a browser-based budget for commercial, film and photo productions. It follows the AICP-format bid form you already know, sections A to X, with fringes, handling, insurance, production fee and post markup worked out the way the form does.
One budget carries the job from start to finish:
- Bid: build the numbers, preview them as the client sees them and export a PDF on your letterhead.
- Award: lock the approved bid so it cannot drift, and keep a protected copy of it.
- Running: keep a working budget beside the bid as the job changes.
- Actuals: log purchase orders, payroll and petty cash against the lines, and see what is over, under and still open.
Your producer, coordinator, accountant or agency can all open the same budget, with control over who can view and who can edit, and everyone sees changes as they are made.
